The best chocolate cookies you’ll ever eat!
Have you ever come across a recipe that you love and everyone you feed it to loves as well? It’s so good that you don’t even want to share the recipe because you want to be the only one to get all the praise for it? Yeah… That’s how I’m feeling about these cookies.
I actually found the recipe for these Levain Bakery Copycat Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies on Pinterest, and they looked so good I had to try it! And I’m even going to share the link to the recipe, because I’m a good person. I can’t keep it all to myself.

These cookies are a chocolate lover’s dream! So… so… chocolatey! Because of the nature of the ingredients, they stay thick and gooey. One of my favorite things about the recipe is that you use cold butter. You don’t have to wait around for the butter to get to room temperature. The goal is to keep the dough cold and bake them at a higher heat to keep the cookies from spreading out. So basically these cookies are nearly instant gratification for chocolate lovers. They are fantastic when they are still warm, and they are fantastic hours later after they have cooled.
The next thing I need to do is figure out how to make my favorite peanut butter cookies in this manner.
